Amy Miles

Amy Miles is a daughter, sister, wife, mother of two beautiful children, and a resident of Oregon. Amy survived a therapeutic abortion at approximately 28 weeks in 1980. Like many abortion survivors, it’s only been in recent years that she’s learned about her survival. As she’s learned more about her life story, she’s found the medical records that detail the procedure and her birth.

As a result of the abortion procedure that was started, Amy sustained a brain injury at birth. Amy has the experience of living with a disability which has allowed her to have a heart full of compassion for those that she works with as an occupational therapist. Amy is hopeful that her story will bring truth to how hurtful abortion can be and she believes that mothers and babies deserve better than what abortion offers.
